The Universal Key

The key that opened all doors:

Close your eyes and imagine the most amazing key that you could ever encounter. Picture it in your mind as it opens doors, then come dream with me.

I once dreamed a dream. That dream was about a key. The answer to my prayers. The key to set me free, from the prison I had built, within.

Then,

Who am I? What is my intended purpose in this life?

What is this so called present and why does it matter more than the past or the future?

Granted by Nature, I found my key. If I can go anywhere on this Universe with it, where would I go?

To yesterday: the same mistakes were made over and over. A never-ending cycle only to be broken with outsider’s perspective into one’s mistakes.

To tomorrow: Fear of the unknown will make humanity collapse on itself. Violence, envy, untrue power leads the future towards the collapse of the greatest as they collapse from within.

To a crowded city: Another face, another number. Where is the identity that only I own?

To a deserted planet: Alone yet not so lonely I roam with my own personal company, though I miss those who call me friend, son, and lover.

To a king’s feast: The, all you can eat buffet without measuring your limits and accompanied by witches’ laughter which tests your ability to see beyond one’s personal needs and sees what surrounds him.

To a poor man’s cabin: A holy place where family is sacred and silence prays for all saints for guidance and protection from that which he fears most, hunger, especially that of attention.

To a mad man’s extremes: From depressive desires to end one’s life through all possible methods to jumping directly and quickly into the manic stages of savagery that cloud one’s judgement with the illusions and fantasies that he is on a personal quest to save humanity through tasks performed.

To a garden called Paradise: A state of mind where everything falls into place and becomes more complex as life progresses, yet allows us to see the now, the here, the gifted present that is the key granted by our mother at birth.

That key saved my life more than once up to this day. It is something I will never forget that I have been entrusted with and wish to pass it on to those that truly need it. Maybe not in the form of a physical key, but we all have the same access granted to unlock our potential. All I need now is where I want to be next and allow my universal key to grant me passage.
